Spring is a short lived season , where the flowers bloom , the earth has that damp smell to it, yet it plays wonders on our senses. Here are a few fragrances to capture that memory.

Upstate New York

Moschino Uomo is a throwback to the 90's , a great elixir of woods and musk , fresh musk at that makes it very versatile to wear in casual or formal settings. It reminds me of a damp beach along the mediteranean during early spring while the air is still a little cold. It is a general crow pleaser people will say you smell nice but by definition in no means is it a head turner , this is more for the refined gentleman that chooses to remain subtle.

Al Wisam day , Imagine a whole rose crushed with its stem together in a bottle along with oakmoss and that's what you get , this slightly metallic earthy rose that draws you to the mosques and souq's of the middle east. This fragrance is a lot easier to wear for the western gent than most middle eastern fragrances, what i love about this is it feels fresh and casual and has a sense of calmness and coolness to it. Personally one of my favorites !

Mont Blanc Individuel is quite popular amongst the fragrance community it would be hard not to like it, Imagine crushing raspberries on a downey fabric softening sheet and you have it! It kind of is a fresh bouquet of raspberry and lavender with hints of vetiver and vanilla, a lot going on to give a very pleasing fragrance , it feels soft and mellow just like a towel after it has been washed and dried. A great office fragrance !

Dunhill Icon was an instant hit with me , I actually remember smelling it at an Airport in Qatar and I just knew I had to have it , so much so I even got the gift set. The notes of neroli , lavender and vetiver sparkle in this fragrance , the spices like pepper and this woody cardamom note make it a well balanced sophisticated fragrance. This feels luxurious without the price tag , this feels James Bond in a vintage Aston driving around the English countryside.
