Often I notice the gentry have fragrances that they wear throughout the year, although some fragrances may perform as a jack of all trades it rarely does. I have compiled a few of my favorite summer fragrances that are lesser known and within budget for everyday use.

L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Summer 2016 by Issey Miyake is an overlooked fragrance in the line, it has a woody zesty scent with hints of Kiwi, yes kiwi! It really stands out amongst popular fragrances that fall to the same recipe of woods and citrus. This actually has decent depth and good longevity for hot summer days. The sillage isn't too strong but that is to be expected with summer fragrances to avoid a cloying sensation.

HM by Hanae Mori is a survivor of the 90's, It is hard to pinpoint the time of scent it is but it has an interesting array of ingredients such as nutmeg, lavender, woods and moss. I find this best worn in office situations and during humid summer days when it rains. The fragrance is long lasting and has moderate sillage. This will definitely make you stand out in the crowd.

Set Sail St. Barts Tommy Bahama is a more popular fragrance due to its resemblance to Creed Virgin Island Water but for the fraction of the price. I would not call it identical but it definitley captures the essence of summer, perhaps on an island with hints of salt water , palm leaf and lime. I thoroughly enjoy this fragrance and it may not last long but for its price you can afford to reapply to keep invoking the freshness it exudes.
